Welcome to the Society for Creative Anachronism!
We are a international organization that researches and recreates the Middle Ages “as they should have been.” We have over 30,000 members spread throughout 20 kingdoms around the world. We dress is clothing of the Middle Ages while attending tournaments, classes, courts and feasts.
The Shire has two annual events.
Cracked Anvil is held in April and is typically a collegium event. MSKD held in September and is a tournament event.
Populace in the Park (Fighter Practice) is held every Sunday. Currently, we are meeting at Creekmore Park in Fort Smith at the corner of Rogers and 34th St across from Sweet Bay Coffee. Fighters and all populace is invited to attend. Bring your armor, your arts and join us on Sunday! Garb is not required. You can check on our Facebook page for any changes to location due to weather.
Business Meeting is held the last Tuesday of the month at Jim’s Razorback Pizza at 3501 Old Greenwood Road Ste 17 in Fort Smith at 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Everyone is encouraged to attend and participate in the shire’s business discussions. Attire is mundane clothing.
